With crisis comes opportunity. In his article, How the Crash Will Reshape America, Richard Florida proposes that the financial upheaval and consequential real estate burst may prove beneficial for the creative population of New York City. If you lived in New York up through September, you witnessed the epidemic of luxury housing construction that forced reasonably priced housing options to move further and further outside the city.
