This Friday, May 17th, Dr. Mary McBride, the chair of Pratt’s Design Management graduate program, will be the guest moderator for a Material ConneXion Roundtable entitled, Conversations With Consequence: Designing for the Triple Bottom Line. As moderator she will be leading a discussion with the top industry leaders about the role future of design. Mary’s model known as “The Triple Bottom Line by Design,” identifies the opportunity for design and designers to create value for their company’s profit margin through the creation of sustainable, environmentally sound, and socially beneficial services and products. Attendees are encouraged to submit topics they would like to discuss to help create an engaging discussion of relevance and impact.
