Pratt Institute and the program chair, Dr. Mary McBride invite you to inquire about applying for our graduate degree programs (MPS) in Arts and Cultural Management (ACM) or Design Management (DM). Please contact Mary at (mmcb1033@pratt.edu) to have a conversation by phone or in person.

We invite you to learn more about how to keep earning while you keep learning in one of Pratt’s two Creative Enterprise Leadership full- time, weekend only business graduate degree programs (ACM/DM).

We have remixed the classic MBA and re-designed it for working professional interested in applying their creativity to the art of leading and managing enterprise. Our program participants are interested in using enterprise to shape thriving cultures and sustainable prosperity. Our graduates are doing that across industries, sectors and borders.

Our programs evidence the power of using the arts and design to address complex cultural challenges. Designed for those who recognize that success today requires continuing to educate themselves as: critical thinkers, reflective leaders, and collaborative team players. Each of our two business programs carefully integrates a “leading as if life matters” foundation into all the tools and methods studied. A full profile of the curriculum and courses can be found here: ACM and DM

You can read about them in Catalyst or join us and become a creative enterprise catalyst!

Each year Catalyst content themed to help deepen our understanding of the challenges facing Creative and Cultural Enterprise Leadership. Follow our Catalyst Leadership Learning Journeys as each year we invite some 20 of our catalysts to unsettle a bit and explore beyond our shores for a week-long intensive exploration of creative enterprise leadership. In 2018, we journeyed to Dublin, Ireland to experience its thriving culture of creative enterprise. In 2019, we journey to Tokyo, Japan, a capital of cool to examine the many ways enterprise leaders can make and shape meaning into creative experiences services and products.

2018 Theme: Designing Thriving
Our next theme is: “Making and Shaping Meaning.” in Japan – the next Learning Journey.

CATALYST

CATALYST | Leading Creative Enterprise is a platform for communication, applied research and exchange of the international graduate programs in creative enterprise leadership in Arts and Cultural Management (ACM) and Design Management (DM) at Pratt Institute, School of Art. In each issue, Catalyst focuses on creative enterprise. Each year we select a theme. Then, we search out the leaders, visionaries and entrepreneurs who embody that theme in practice. They are each leading as if life matters—creating economic value as they enrich our cultures, our lives, and our shared world.
