The latest issue of CATALYST is centered on the theme of Designing Desire. What happens when energy, the fuel for those desires, is not strategically designed? To fully understand the energy issue, we have to understand how America gets its energy, and how it is used. When looking at the full picture, the problems (we waste a lot of energy) and the potential solutions (we have just barely cracked into renewable energy) become more clear. This interactive infographic, a collaboration between between GOOD and Hyperakt. shows from solar to coal, how much of our energy comes from each potential source, and where those sources go.
