Interactive Infographic: Appliance Use and Energy

Have you ever wondered just how much each appliance you own costs you per year in electricity costs? Or how many watts of energy per month your flat screen TV uses to function? Well, the folks at Pentagram Design have created an amazing interactive application that tells you how much energy and money your daily appliances run you as well as which ones are the most efficient to own (Turns out an answering machine is #1). Head on over to the GE site to play around with it, and find out what appliances you use that you may want to cut down on or find alternatives for.
